Monday 'Mainly Men' Yoga Classes !
Yoga seems to still mostly appeal to women !
If you've considered yoga but prefer a mainly male class, this session is perfect for you. Yoga provides a range of benefits to men who are active but also those who maybe aren't as active as they would like to be.
Yoga definitely boosts your mental as well as physical health.

Women are very welcome to this class but the balance of men to women in this class is the other way round - mainly men !
My sessions are suitable for complete beginners. Yoga can also be useful alongside a regular gym, exercise or sport with benefits such as injury reduction, improved flexibility and strength and conditioning.

We start with lying supported by a yoga bolster (supplied). We gently move into our body through a range of ‘’yogic breathing ‘’ before we begin the main practice.
We thread somatic yoga into our practice; a particular style of yoga that supports us feel the movement in our muscles, sensing our way in and out of our yoga poses. .
We use props such as the yoga bolsters and yoga bricks to help all our bodies in our practice.
We then return to our mats to begin to help switch the strong muscles of the body off and then float into relaxation in the traditional ‘’Savasana’’ (lying relaxation)

Monday mixed class -dynamic Yoga Flow
This class would appeal to anyone who has some experience of yoga, or who is new to yoga and already has a reasonable level of fitness i.e can easily get up from hands and knees off a yoga mat.
It is a flowing dynamic class with some pauses threaded throughout the class to check into how the body feels and notice our heart centre as our energy levels gently rise.
We start with lying supported by a yoga bolster (supplied). We gently move into our body through a range of ‘’yogic breathing ‘’ practices before we begin the main practice.
We then return to our mats to begin to help switch the strong muscles of the body off and then float into relaxation in the traditional ‘’Savasana’’ (lying relaxation)

Tuesday Seated Yoga - Men and Women
This class would appeal to anyone who would like to remain active and may find a traditional standing and floor based yoga class challenging.
Seated yoga provides the same opportunity to support the body to be more flexible, strong and improve balance using the comfort and security of a chair .
We start with stillness weaving ‘’yogic breathing ‘’ into our warm up before we begin the main practice.
We move though some seated yoga poses, with the additional opportunity for some standing poses , using the chair for support , then return to our place of stillness in a ‘’Savasana’’ ( seated relaxation).
Opportunity for a free cup of tea following class !

Wednesday Slower Flow Class
This class would appeal to anyone who is an experienced yogi and would welcome a gentler flow or complete beginners.
We start with lying supported by a yoga bolster (supplied). We gently move into our body through a range of ‘’yogic breathing ‘’ practices before we begin the main practice.
We then return to our mats to begin to help switch the strong muscles of the body off and then float into relaxation in the traditional ‘’Savasana’’ (lying relaxation).

Friday Gentle Slow Flow and Relaxation
This class would appeal to anyone who is an experienced yogi and would welcome a really slow flow class with lots of stretching and is perfect for complete beginners.
We start with lying supported by a yoga bolster (supplied). We gently move into our body through a range of ‘’yogic breathing ‘’ practices before we begin the main practice.
We then return to our mats to begin to help switch the strong muscles of the body off and then float into relaxation in the traditional ‘’Savasana’’ (lying relaxation)
